Photo & Signature Resizer for Exam Forms

Pick your exam, upload a photo or signature, and download a JPG with the exact pixel size and KB the form accepts — checked before you download.

275 × 354 px · 20–50 KB · JPG · 200 DPI

Some SSC forms now take a live photo with your webcam. Use this when the form asks you to upload a photo.

Sizes follow the latest official notifications we checked. Always confirm with your exam’s notification before you submit.

How to use the Photo & Signature Resizer

  1. 1

Choose your exam and whether you need the photo, signature or thumb impression, or enter your own size in pixels and KB.

  3. 3

Drag the picture and use the zoom slider until your face (or signature) sits well in the frame.

  4. 4

Check that every line in the checklist is green, then download the JPG and upload it to the form.

Frequently asked questions

Will the file really be between the minimum and maximum KB?

Yes. The tool tries quality settings until the file is as clear as possible while staying under the limit, and checks the result before you download it. Every line of the checklist must be green. We count 1 KB as 1,000 bytes for the maximum and 1,024 bytes for the minimum, so the file passes whichever way the form counts.

My signature comes out too small (under 10 KB). What happens?

Very small images such as a 140 × 60 signature often can’t reach the minimum even at full quality. The tool then adds empty space inside the file (a JPEG comment) to reach the minimum size. The picture itself doesn’t change and the file opens normally everywhere.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo and signature never leave your phone or computer. It also works on slow connections once the page has loaded.

How do I get a clean white background for my signature?

Sign with a black or blue pen on plain white paper and take the photo in good light. Leave “Clean up paper background” on: it turns the grey paper white and keeps the ink sharp.

Are the exam sizes up to date?

They follow the latest notifications we checked (October 2026). Rules sometimes change between years, so always compare with your official notification. If it differs, choose “Custom size or KB” and enter the numbers from the notification.

Can I use a photo from my iPhone?

Yes, as long as it’s a JPG or PNG. If you see an error about HEIC, open the photo on the iPhone and share it as JPEG, or set Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible.
